The longest range electric cars in 2024 can go an incredible distance before they need recharging
Below we list the Top 30 electric cars currently available to order in the UK in 2024, arranged in descending range order. We include all the various trim levels for each EV.
It’s worth noting that range on a single charge is stated here as both ‘Average Range‘ and ‘Max Range WLTP‘. Manufacturers will provide the official ‘WLTP’ range in their brochures and websites. However, the longest range electric cars will not always manage their WLTP figure. In winter, for example, nearly all EVs perform significantly below their WLTP range.
So the Average Range values below are usually between 16% and 20% less than the official range figures. Read our Range Guide for the full story. Prices are listed including the government grant, where applicable.
You can compare all the characteristics for up to three cars by ticking the ‘Compare all statistics’ box. Alternatively, just click on ‘View data for this car‘ to see comprehensive details of one car only. Some of the cars have their own review – click on ‘Read our review’ – and finally you can even link through to a low-cost lease provider via the ‘Lease this car’ link.
